ACPA2410 - Advanced Cardiac Care
This course integrates knowledge of normal and pathological states of the cardiovascular system with knowledge of the Electrocardiogram (ECG), physical assessment and history taking. Students will apply their knowledge and skills to manage patients with emergent cardiovascular problems. The concepts of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course will be applied throughout this course.
This course is available to students in the Emergency Medical Technology - Paramedic program. Prerequisites: ACPA1390. Co-requisite: ACPA2400, ACPA2420, ACPA2440. A completion grade of C- in ACPA1200, ACPA1210 and ACPA1250 is required to enroll.
