ACPA2440 - Advanced Pediatric Care
Students will learn the theory and practical skills pertaining to common medical and trauma emergencies encountered with neonatal and pediatric patients. They will learn and apply the concepts of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
This course is available to students in the Emergency Medical Technology - Paramedic program. Prerequisites: ACPA1390. Corequisites: ACPA2400, ACPA2410, ACPA2420. A completion grade of C- in ACPA1200, ACPA1210 and ACPA1250 is required to enroll.
