ANAP1105 - Analytical Principles
The theory of the analytical principles used for the quantitative analysis of laboratory specimens in clinical laboratories will be emphasized. Various analytical techniques will be studied: spectrophotometry, reflectance photometry, emission photometry, electrochemistry, chromatography, electrophoresis, osmometry, and immunoassay techniques. Laboratory sessions include exposure to various laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
This program is available to students in the Medical Laboratory Technology program. Co-requisites: MELT1107, MELT1104, HSTO1106, MELT1103.
