Course Overview

Microsoft Access is a versatile information management tool that stores information for reference, reporting, and analysis. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to create Microsoft Access databases with multiple tables, design ad hoc queries, and create macros.

A well-designed database improves the efficiency and accuracy of business processes. Graduates of this course will be able to set up relationships, ensure data and relation integrity, link tables, and implement cascading deletes and updates. You will also be able to use advanced tools including the import and export functionality, event procedures, Action and Select queries, and create forms and sub-forms.

It is recommended that you complete CCTO170 Microsoft Access Level I before enrolling in this course.

  • Remote Independent: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online, with no instructor support. While students choose when to do coursework, there may be set due dates and deadlines.
