CMIS3344 - Accounting Information Systems
This course will provide the student with an understanding of how computer based information systems are used by management and accountants in today’s business environment. On completion of this course students will be able to make decisions to successfully develop, control, and use information systems to achieve business objectives. Topics may include business processes, process automation and streamlining, risks, internal and systems controls, security, documentation of processes and the systems development life-cycle.
Prerequisite: CMIS2250. This course is available to Open Studies students.
