CSTN2415 - Concrete Structures and Formwork
This course examines the structural aspects of reinforced concrete buildings. Topics covered include elementary structural analysis, Limit States Design, sizing of suitable structural members according to current Canadian Codes, coordinating reinforcing steel drawings, selection of appropriate formwork systems, and planning and execution methods commonly used for concrete structures.
This course is available to students in the Construction Engineering Technology program. Prerequisites: CSTN2311.
