CSTN2480 - Construction Economics
This course is an introduction to basic business practices and related economics of a typical construction firm within the Province of Alberta. Students will be required to create a small company based on a business plan proposal and follow the process of setting up the financial requirements of a typical company. Record keeping, invoicing, financial statements, expenses and other related business accounting functions will be examined. Current trends within the construction climate of Alberta will also be explored.
This course is available to students in the Construction Engineering Technology program.
