ELTR2332 - Circuit Applications
Circuit Applications is a combined theory and project course which focuses on circuit applications and systems used for medical devices. Topics include power supply systems, batteries, battery monitoring and recharge circuits, electro-mechanical transducer drive circuits, signal conditioning, motor control and graphical user interface (GUI) for device control and feedback. Students work in groups to complete assigned projects.
This course is available to students in the Biomedical Engineering Technology and the Biomedical Engineering Technology Co-op programs. Prerequisites: ENGL1238, ELTR1232, MATH1202, MPRO1252.
