STAT3301 - Applied Statistical Methods
Applied Statistical Methods is a course in business statistics designed as a continuation of STAT2201. This course will provide students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to apply statistical concepts to solve applied business problems. Students will learn the logic and procedures of common statistical techniques. Statistical software such as SPSS/MINITAB/Excel/StatCrunch will be used to complement student learning. At the end of the course students will be able to read and evaluate a research study using methods such as: Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Regression Analysis, Forecasting, and Statistical quality Control – topics that are covered in this course.
