WRLS2370 - Applications of Telecommunications
Wireless access is often an extension of the existing wireline network and thus part of the larger telecommunications infrastructure. This course introduces the student to the wireline network, multiplexing techniques, wired to wireless transition, traffic analysis, last mile technology, and the backhaul requirements of a communication network.
This course is available to students in the Wireless Systems Engineering Technology program. Prerequisites: ELTR1141, WRLS1130, WRLS1230.
