WRLS2410 - Advanced Data Networks
In many applications behind the wireless access is a core network which handles routing and switching, Quality of Service, provisioning, and service management. The Wireless Systems Engineering Technologist must have a good understanding of the differences between voice and data networks and how network layering concepts, protocol stacks and Quality of Service applies to such applications. This course introduces the student to routing and switching protocols, topologies used in wireless data communication systems, security vulnerabilities and allow students to configure and verify operations of an in-building wireless data communication system.
