The NAIT Shell Manufacturing Centre is a unique 14.6 million dollar multi-disciplinary facility dedicated to helping the Alberta manufacturing industry. We are located on NAIT's Main Campus (campus map) near downtown Edmonton.
Shell Manufacturing Centre Mandate
To help the manufacturing sector in Alberta, especially the small and medium enterprises be globally competitive. We provide industry with access to:
- Training in nearly a dozen areas related to productivity enhancement, and
- Applied research solutions in manufacturing

Employment Opportunities Now Available
Contract employees and vendors are compensated for each contract based
on factors such as the number of hours of instruction, preparation, planning,
facilitiation, coordination, travel, etc. Employees are paid by direct deposit,
a prorated earning biweekly over the duration of the contract while vendors
are paid through accounts payable after submission of invoices. Depending on
the location of service delivery and length of contract, additional allowances,
benefits, or other services may be provided to the employee or contractor.
