As a NAIT student or staff member, you can request that we borrow materials from other libraries for your use. We will bring books from another library, and we will request articles from magazines, journals, etc. that we do not hold in our own collections. Charges applied by the lending library will be passed on to you.
Ways to request an Interlibrary Loan:

If no source is available, you can automatically request an interlibrary loan, and we will obtain a photocopy of the article for you.

If you want to borrow directly from another library (perhaps you are in a hurry or would like to view material before you borrow it), you can get a TAL (The Alberta Library) Card from our library's Lending Services desk and use it at most Alberta libraries.
Items you borrow using the TAL card can be returned to us, and we will return them to the lending library.
