Fundamental Machine Shop Ops
This series provides a basic overview of certain key elements of machining. Topics covered include dimensional measurement, drill press, manual lathe, and manual milling operations. These classes are a worthwhile supplement to Engineering programs. Students who successfully complete MACH161 through MACH164 will be eligible for a Fundamental Machine Shop Operations Certificate.
These classes are designed to cover a basic look at the principles of machining. Students wishing to attend introductory machining courses for the purposes of employment should consider more in-depth courses such as MACH101.
