Learn to measure and improve your company's operational performance! Get to know the data-driven Six Sigma methodology and apply the principles in your workplace. Students will gain a practical understanding of how to use the Six Sigma approach within a project management context. For example, students will learn how to identify a problem, convert it to a statistical problem, find a statistical solution and convert it into a practical solution. Students will also be introduced to “DMAIC”, an ordered plan for resolving problems: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control.
The program has a heavy emphasis on statistics, measurement, data analysis, process improvement and process control. By implementing the various tools and methods discussed in this program, students can ensure efficient utilization of resources in their workplace projects, by applying the right tools at the right time.
The project management modules in this program will complement your skills and training with the Six Sigma approach. Refer to the Project Management Certificate program for details on project management modules.
