Overview

As a medical laboratory assistant already working in the field you know how important your role is to the health care team, offering support, communication to patients and delivering accurate reports and results to other heath care professionals. You also know how vital it is to ensure your skills are current and your knowledge of the fundaments accurate.

Fitting education into your schedule can be tough, but we make it easer by offering distance learning options. Go at your own pace, but feel confident that the courses are approved by the ACMLT (Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists). The courses offered cover the theoretical information only, consisting of specific objectives, comprehensive notes, exercises, and references. Throughout the courses, if you’re ever feeling as though you could use extra help or support, we also have phone-in tutors available who want to help you succeed.
