Pre-Technology - Accelerated

ORIENTATION WILL BE JANUARY 3 , 2011 AT 9:00AM in the SHAW THEATRE (X123)

The Pre-Technology - Accelerated program is for students who have a grade 11 high-school background in math, science and English or have been out of high-school for no more than 3 years and need a refresher.  It is a condensed 17 week adult upgrading program that starts at the beginning of January and ends the last week of April.  This program requires the student's full attention.  Part-time studies are discouraged.

 Pre-Technology - Accelerated is designed to provide entrance requirements for most of the engineering diploma programs that NAIT offers. Physics is the only science course featured in this 17 week upgrading program.

Most students completing NAIT's upgrading programs enter a subsequent diploma program at NAIT.  The Alberta Transfer Guide lists the NAIT upgrading courses which are accepted as prerequisites at other colleges, technical institutes and universities in Alberta.
