Join us and discover what it's like to be part of the NAIT community!
What will I experience during my campus tour?
All of our campus tours start with a short NAIT presentation. During the presentation, we provide information about polytechnic education, NAIT programs and admission requirements, student life, and more. Following the presentation, attendees will go on a walking tour of main campus to learn more about our facilities and services.
Who can register for a campus tour?
Our campus tours are best suited for high school students, mature students, teachers, and support staff; however, we can make accommodations for junior high groups as well. Once you fill out the Request Form below, our Campus Visits Coordinator will be in touch to discuss details for your tour.
When are tours offered?
Tours are offered Monday through Friday and are not available on evenings, weekends, or holidays. When you fill out the Tour Request Form, you’ll be asked to select your preferred start time (9AM, 10AM, 1PM, or 2PM).
How do I book a campus tour?
If you are requesting a group tour, fill out the Group Tour Request Form and a member from Student Recruitment will be in touch. If you are interested in an individual tour, please email email@example.com to inquire.
We recommend requesting campus tours with a minimum of two weeks’ notice; larger groups (40+ guests) are encouraged to give a minimum of three weeks’ notice. If your preferred date is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible so that you can choose the date that fits your schedule.
Can I customize my campus tour?
If there are specific areas you'd like to learn more about, please indicate those areas on your Tour Request Form.
The Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre: Request a stop at the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre during your tour. Alternatively, consider participating in NAIT’s Prospective Aboriginal Youth Program (PAY) which gives Aboriginal youth an opportunity to access information on career choices, NAIT programming, and services and resources at NAIT.
International Student Centre: The International Centre is where newcomers can receive support as they transition and settle in Canada. Services include: Pre-Arrival Webinars, Advising, Immigration Workshops, and more. Learn more about the support this Centre provides current students by requesting a stop here during your tour.
English Language Proficiency Requirements: Learn about NAIT’s ESL Program and English Language Proficiency Requirements for academic programming at NAIT.
Learning Services: Whether you need tutoring, help developing learning strategies, or need to discuss individualized accommodations for your disabilities, Learning Services is here to help. If you require accommodations and are interested in learning more about Learning Services during your NAIT visit, please indicate that you'd like to request a stop at their office when you complete your form.
Who can I contact if I have questions about NAIT campus tours?
