Getting In
You have researched your program and planned your education. Once you have decided NAIT’s for you, it’s time to start the application process.
Step 1 – Confirm requirements
Make sure you have everything you need to apply for your program. An incomplete application may keep you from being accepted.
- Review the entrance requirements and application instructions
- Make sure you have your Alberta Student Number and copies of your transcripts if you’re applying for full-time study. If you haven’t finished school yet, you can arrange to submit your transcripts once you’re done.
Step 2 – Complete the application
You can apply to NAIT through our online application or by completing the application form available through the Registrar’s Office. You will need a credit card to complete the online application.

- Complete your application using the links on the How to Apply page
- You can check your application status starting 30 days after you apply.
Step 3 – Once you’re accepted
You’ve been accepted into your program – congratulations! Now there are a few important steps you need to take before starting your classes.
