Course Overview

Switching and routing are key to designing and constructing computer networks. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to configure and maintain Cisco IOS routers and switches.

In this introductory Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) course, you will discover how to design and implement a simple network and explain the main functions of the switches and the routers in your network. You will also be able to set up your own computer network, perform the initial configuration for your router or switch, demonstrate Cisco IOS’s editing features and command modes, and identify the physical and logical structure of different networking equipment.

It is recommended that you complete CCTM270 Network Implementation before registering for this course.
