Avoid downtime and costly repairs by maintaining your equipment. Explore the parts of a foundation drill rig, their function, maintenance routines, and explain safety strategies during operation. Discover foundation drill rig components and systems, including the engine, hydraulic system, electrical system, undercarriage, cabin controls, and Kelly bar assembly. Dive into the drill rig modifications that are most commonly used in the foundation drilling industry.

With the knowledge that you gain in this course, you will be able to describe the functions of foundation drilling equipment, how to implement manufacturer instructions in conducting maintenance procedures, and identify and troubleshoot equipment failures. Plus, you will be able to identify mechanical challenges and failures that should to be referred to a qualified technician for repair.
