Course Overview

Boost your knowledge of programmable logic controllers by delving into Siemens PLC. Siemens PLCs are impressive, compact, and modular controllers that offer scalability and integration for mechatronic tasks. Explore Siemens Step 7-1500 CPUs and Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal engineering software. Discover different features of TIA Portal such as hardware configuration, basic elements of a control program, Organization Blocks, Functions, Function Blocks, and basic tools for developing logic in Ladder Diagrams.

With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to identify and describe the components of a Siemens PLC, monitor program blocks, download and upload to a Siemens PLC, and program Ladder Logic by using TIA portal.
