BoomBalloon Studio Inc. is an award-winning event decor company based in Edmonton, Alberta, founded and operated by NAIT alumni Ariana Villarreal and Roberto Valencia.
Ariana Villarreal, a graduate of NAIT's Business Administration–Accounting '14 program, serves as the company's co-owner and creative director. Roberto Valencia, a graduate of both NAIT's Baking '11 and Culinary Arts '12 programs, brings a strong foundation in craftsmanship, project execution, operations, and customer service to the business.
Founded in 2019, BoomBalloon Studio specializes in custom balloon decor, luxury event styling, marquee letter rentals, helium balloons, balloon sculptures, corporate activations, weddings, graduations, grand openings, and private celebrations. The company is known for creating impactful installations that transform ordinary spaces into unforgettable experiences.
What began as a creative passion project has grown into one of Edmonton's leading balloon and event decor companies. In 2025, the business was incorporated as BoomBalloon Studio Inc., reflecting its continued growth and commitment to serving both corporate and private clients throughout Alberta.
Together, Ariana and Roberto have built BoomBalloon Studio into a thriving family-owned business focused on creativity, innovation, exceptional customer service, and memorable event experiences. Their combined expertise in business, design, fabrication, and operations allows them to deliver unique, custom-built decor solutions tailored to each client's vision.
