A spark that ignites entrepreneurship

2015 Spirit of NAIT Award recipient, Tiffany Linke-Boyko founded an exciting career that began as an event organizer for Edmonton Dream Ministries. A graduate of NAIT’s Management program, she put her skills to work, organizing conferences for as many as 16,000 delegates in places far away as Malawi, Africa.

Tiffany then became COO of Starup Edmonton, an entrepreneurial and community hub located in the Mercer Warehouse. At the core of Edmonton’s growing downtown, Tiffany thrives on delivering a broad range of programs and events that.  To date, Tiffany and her colleagues have motivated and inspired more than 25,000 event participants, 180 resident members and helped launch 50 startups.

Getting involved with initiatives that improve the quality of life for Edmontonians is another key priority within Tiffany’s busy schedule. She currently serves on the Mayor’s Taskforce Eliminate Poverty committee, which is dedicated to building solutions to homelessness. And she is also a board member of Edmonton Dream Centre, a centre that helps women recover from addiction.

With a passion for travel, Tiffany is grateful that her work has given her chances to venture across North America and around the world to Belize, Ukraine, Malawi and Iceland.
