Leverage the power of your smartphone to improve your photography skills for any occasion, personal or professional. We will look at the fundamentals of photography and how they can be implemented and utilized with your smartphone. We will also examine the exposure triangle, composition, and how to get the look you want from your images. Whether you want to capture the precious moments around you or step up your social media game, this event will leave you with the skills to get started.

This presentation is part of the NAIT Alumni Lifelong Learning series and is free to all NAIT alumni. The presentation begins at 6 p.m.. You will receive an email 2 to 3 days before the event with access instructions.

Reg Westly, Chair, NAIT Photographic Technology

Reg is a graduate of the Telecommunications Engineering Technology program and has developed his career at NAIT over the past 33 years. He has taught in 15 different programs covering everything from Telecommunications Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Networking Engineering Technology, Computer Network Administration, AS400, Cisco Academy, Web Design, Graphic Communications, Bachelor of Information Systems Technology-Network Management, and Photographic Technology.

Currently, Reg is the Chair of the Photographic Technology program. He has done photography part-time for the last 30 years in his spare time and has worked with Adobe software since Photoshop version 1.0.
