NAIT alumni are invited to attend this session on personality traits. This event is one of a series of seminars for NAIT alumni.

In this session, you will explore how your unique personality traits can help you plan and develop new skills to advance your career.

A NAIT Alumni Lifelong Learning Presentation

A clear understanding of your natural strengths and career preferences will help you create a strategy to manage your career progress, utilize your strengths for progression, and focus your ongoing development.

As part of the event, you will have the opportunity to complete a free Work Personality Index in the days prior to the event. You will receive a complimentary 19-page report that explores your strengths, passions, ideal career tasks and satisfying work environments based on your personal preferences and natural approach to work.

  • Free parking is available.
  • Room location and parking passes will be sent prior to the event.
  • Doors open at 5:30pm.
  • Presentation begins at 6:00pm sharp.

Participants must register in advance. A link to the Work Personality Index will be emailed prior to the event, and participants must complete this prior to the event in order to receive their free individual report.


Shawn Bakker

Psychometrics Canada

Shawn Bakker is a registered psychologist and holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta (1997). He leads the professional services team at Psychometrics Canada, and specializes in the effective use of assessments of personality, ability and judgment to help people capitalize on their talents as leaders, team members and individual contributors.
