The following are our certificates with focuses on leadership and management skill development. Learners must complete a set of required courses or hours, and in some cases, pass a summative assessment to earn their certificates. 

Professional Certification: Payroll

The National Payroll Institute (formerly known as Canadian Payroll Association) offers the only payroll designations in Canada: Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP). These programs prepare payroll practitioners to manage the compliance requirements of an organization's annual payroll cycle, deliver clear and reliable payroll information and contribute a payroll perspective to organizational policy and strategy discussions.

  • Completion requirements: Students must complete a minimum of 28 hours of training in any combination of courses in the NPI stream.
  • Program delivery:

Professional Certification: Real Estate Licensing

Start your real estate career today by enrolling in your online real estate training courses. Your pre-requisite courses will include the Fundamentals of Real Estate and one or more of the practice courses related to the areas of real estate you're planning on practicing, i.e., residential real estate, commercial real estate, property management, and/or rural (agri-business).

  • Completion requirements: You can expect to spend between 5-10 hours per week on your courses. This is an estimate and some learners will progress faster. You should be prepared to invest many hours per week to stay on track.

Professional Certification: Certified Digital Marketing Professional

Get the skills to stay relevant in an ever-changing digital world! NAIT has partnered with the Digital Marketing Institute to deliver multiple training options covering the key areas required to become a skilled digital marketer in any industry and sector.

  • Completion requirements: Students who complete the Digital Marketing Professional Program, a comprehensive 72 hour program with 42 hours of live, online instruction by NAIT's expert practitioners and 30 hours of self-directed online learning, will earn a Digital Marketing Professional Certificate and also the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) award from the American Marketing Association (AMA).

Professional Certification: Certified Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist courses are designed to create digital strategists and leaders. They will deepen your knowledge of digital marketing tactics, digital strategy execution, marketing communications, omnichannel marketing campaigns and help you to become a successful leader.

  • Completion requirements: Students must complete 10 modules (27 to 38 hours) of self-directed instructional content.
