Conflict resolution doesn't happen by coming up with solutions. Resolution takes place by breaking down an issue and understanding the human elements involved. Your ability to understand other people's motives and communicate with the parties involved will determine your success in the face of conflict.

In the Conflict Resolution & Negotiation Program, you will use techniques for engaging in a methodical response to conflict. Discover and develop your own personal communication style and ability to manage your reaction to criticism. Classes are a combination of traditional study, class discussion, group work and practical application to provide both theoretical and hands-on experience.

Recognize what it takes to be both sensitive and balanced in an intense conflict or negotiation situation. Apply the tools you learn in both work and personal life, and you'll find that, by engaging in interactive conflict resolution methods, you will be a part of effective solution development.
