Student Content Team

Calling all NAIT content creators

NAIT’s Marketing and Communications Team is looking for passionate and creative content creators to help showcase the experience as a NAIT student. Whether it is showing off a hidden gem on campus, talking about a unique student service, or highlighting one of our programs, we want your help to share our story to classmates, future students and our community.

By being a member of the Student Content Team, you will have a unique opportunity to tap into your creative side, build communications skills, and create engaging content that will be shared on NAIT’s social media channels.

Become a NAIT Content Creator

What we are looking for in a team member:

  • Strong familiarity with all mainstream social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.  
  • Experience creating personal or professional content on social media platforms with strong focus on video and photo content (Instagram Reels, TikToks). 
  • Experience with editing content natively in social media platforms or on third-party apps. 
  • Keeps up with emerging content trends – you know what’s hot and what’s not.  
  • Passionate about NAIT and being an Ook! The content you create will represent NAIT in a positive manner to current and future students. 
  • Creativity is in your DNA. You can take a mundane topic and turn it into exciting and engaging content. 
  • Current student in a credit program (either part-time or full-time) 
  • Commit to a minimum of one term (3months) 
  • Must be in good academic standing (minimum GPA 2.5) 

What you can expect:

  • Attend virtual team meetings with members of Marketing and Communications and the Student Content Team to brainstorm, share ideas and learnings, and collaborate 
  • Receive creative briefs from M&C that will describe content assignments  
  • Contribute content on a bi-weekly basis 
  • Collaborative environment that will encourage you to be push your creative boundaries 
  • Gain a deeper understanding of NAIT’s brand 
  • Compensation for your content contributions
