Students learn to work safely with large animals while performing a variety of specified procedures. Students practice large animal (LA) skills including handling and restraint, physical exam, blood sampling, injections, oral medication administration, intravenous catheters, local anesthesia and radiology. The laboratory portion of this course takes place off campus.
