Requisites: This course is available to students in the AHT program. Prerequisites: AHTC2300, 2320, 2330A, 2340. Co-requisites: IPAE1201, AHTC2440, 2420, 2440, 2480. A completion grade of C- in AHTC2340, 2330, 2320 and AHTC2300 is required to enroll.

Students learn to work safely with large animals while performing a variety of specified procedures. Students practice large animal (LA) skills including handling and restraint, physical exam, blood sampling, injections, oral medication administration, intravenous catheters, local anesthesia and radiology. The laboratory portion of this course take place off campus.
