An exploration of construction drawing techniques for a new building intended for an Office and Personal Services occupancy. Students will prepare a coordinated set of industry standard construction drawings based on a design package prepared by an architect. Primary construction techniques will include a cast-in-place concrete skeleton structure and concrete block exterior walls with brick veneer. Compliance with the current edition of the Alberta Building Code, and incorporation of its requirements will be part of the construction drawing process.
