This course will examine several aspects of data as to how it may affect an organization and an organization’s ability for effective decision making. Establishing the capability for people to make effective decisions at every level of the organization can lead to success by moving toward organizational goals in a timely manner. The focus of this course is on examining organizational data, how it becomes a foundation for information used in decision making, and how this leads to acquiring knowledge. The primary deliverables for this course are the completion of small assignments based on data, database, and Business Intelligence (BI) structures and issues.
