Competitive strategies for bidding for traditional and alternative delivery systems will comprise the majority of framework for this course. Direct, indirect and conceptual estimating at a managerial level will be examined. Students will be exposed to best practices regarding creating an estimate and general steps of bid preparation, pre-bidding closing procedures, post tender negotiations and award. This course will also investigate the risk determination and risk exposure relative to competitive bidding.
