This course is aimed to equip the students with tools and knowledge of cost control of construction projects. Students will be provided with the insight to cost control processes from managerial perspective. Strategies to manage the labor will be discussed in detail. Students will be exposed to essential components of developing and tracking the cost management plan. Project budget tracking, purchasing, expediting, cost control and cash flow will be analyzed and studied for construction projects. The emphasis will be on maximizing project profit through the construction project duration.
