In the 21st Century, we are faced with situations that are increasingly complex, uncertain, and ambiguous. Systemic design offers new tools and approaches for tackling complex challenges. By bringing together diverse groups of people to foster shared understanding, create and test new ideas, and see their world from new perspectives, it can help people identify how to act now, together, in order to create their desired future. Designed as an introduction to systemic thinking, this class will enable students to explore and practice newly-learned skills and concepts in an experiential, interactive format.
