This course is a continuation of DENT1274A Oral Pathology. Students will learn the theory of pathology and its relationship to the denture patient. Students will gain knowledge of adaptive responses, inflammatory and reparative processes, developmental and genetic disorders, environmental and nutritional pathology, microbial diseases of the oral cavity, as well as tumors of the head and neck region. Diseases unique to the oral region as well as oral manifestations of systemic diseases will be covered.
