Designing and design verification techniques of removable partial dentures will be practiced. Students will learn options for selecting and combining partial denture components. Biological and biomechanical information will be used to make partial denture designs. Tooth modifications will be discussed and preparations will be cut onto surveyed models. The procedures used to communicate the completed design to other dental health professionals will be practiced throughout this course.
