In this course, students demonstrate the depth and breadth of their technical competencies by researching and writing an electrical technology report consistent with ASET guidelines. Students must select a project topic that extends beyond the scope of the program curriculum, and that requires them to research and analyze technical information, as well as to design, troubleshoot, construct or test electrical equipment or systems. Students develop project management skills by producing a project proposal and an interim progress report. They also develop their oral presentation abilities by presenting and defending their work in front of their instructors and peers.
