Entrepreneurial practice is a set of attitudes, behaviours, and skills associated with innovation and value creation. Entrepreneurial practice is important in many contexts, within any organization, and at all stages of the business life cycle. This course focuses on the entrepreneurial mindset and what it means to behave “entrepreneurially.” Students will analyze the key components of entrepreneurial practice and experiment with many of these practices, creativity in particular, in hands-on ways. Students will assess their own capacity for entrepreneurial practice and determine the next steps to enhance their competency. By the end of the course, students will have developed a strategy to become – or become more competent – entrepreneurial practitioners.
