Small businesses and their owner/manager are critical to the economy and society. Students will explore the context of small business in Canada, focusing on the distinctive challenges of managing a small business. In this course, students will assume the role of the entrepreneurial manager and develop the skills of strategic planning, marketing, finance, and operations management.
