This course focuses on the core aspects of the process of new venture creation. First, the course explores components of an entrepreneurial process that includes balancing opportunity recognition,resource gathering, and team building. Next, the course briefly examines ideation and its role in business implementation. Thirdly, business modeling is studied with an emphasis on using iterative approaches. Underpinning these topics is the study of the business planning process so the student effectively can create an abridged business plan.
