Requisites: This course is available to students in the Medical Laboratory Technology program. Prerequisites: HEMA1201. A completion grade of C- in all prerequisite courses is required to enroll.

Medical Laboratory Technologists play a vital role in the detection of blood disorders. The pathophysiology of blood disorders involving leukocytes (leukemias) and erythrocytes (anemias) will be studied in this course. Laboratory sessions will focus on cellular morphological differences and other laboratory data to differentiate blood disorders.
