This course is a study of the conceptual and practical aspects of attracting and selecting suitable employees. A working knowledge of the major recruitment and selection functions including human resource planning and forecasting, determining job specifications, recruitment sources, screening procedures, use of employment testing methods, interviewing techniques, and application background investigation will be developed. Interview role-play sessions and testing class exercises will be utilized to provide students with practical experience in the conduct of employment interviews and testing procedures.
