Students will focus on the science of resistance training and exercise techniques. Theoretical content consists of physiological adaptations to resistance training, equipment and training modalities, program design, and exercise prescription specific to muscular development. Practical content consists of assessment protocols, exercise demonstration of various training methods, and cueing/spotting techniques specific to resistance training.
