Pharmacological treatment is a foundation of current medical management, and during their clinical practice, Respiratory Therapists will be exposed to a broad array of medications. In this course students will examine the basic principles of pharmacology, including drug calculations and methods of drug delivery. Students will study the pharmacological management of the Respiratory, Cardiovascular and Neurological systems with a specific focus on the medications given by Respiratory Therapists during clinical practice.
