Wireless technology allows us to connect with people, enables machines to talk to machines, and allows communication services in remote locations. In many industrial environments, wireless links carry vital information for monitoring, control, and automation. This course introduces the student to standards, applications, and capabilities of industrial wireless data systems. Students will create a frequency plan and use the appropriate tools to design, configure, and verify the operation of a wireless data communication system.
