Wireless and telecommunication systems require appropriate sites in which to install the necessary equipment. In this course, students will learn about relevant regulations and codes, radio frequency safety concepts, and how to select and design a suitable site and shelter for communication equipment. Students will learn about modern antenna systems, basic primary power, backup power, grounding concepts and maintenance procedures relevant to wireless and telecommunication installations.
