Study water treatment operator responsibilities, raw water sources, reservoir management, coagulation and flocculation processes, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, corrosion control, taste and odour problems, and water treatment plant operational procedures. An introduction to laboratory equipment and laboratory water testing procedures using QA/QC methods. Specific tests include; alkalinity, chlorine, color, hardness, jar testing, pH, and turbidity.
