Arnold and Grace Rumbold have been part of the Edmonton community for 60 years. Now they want to help students gain access to rewarding, lifelong careers.
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Al Owen wanted to contribute to the forest industry that he built his career upon, so he established a scholarship endowment at NAIT. Lucas was the 2015 recipient.
This year, NAIT students received $6 million in scholarships and bursaries. Celebrating convocation, recipients were thankful for the Essential Effect donors have had on their education.
More than 40 students receive $40,000 in scholarships from ProCura Real Estate Services.
